The Lamar Warriors basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Paris Eagles to 57 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Warriors now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Booneville for a non-league contest on Friday, November 18. Lamar will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 60-52 non-league loss to Mansfield (Mansfield, AR). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-1.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ozark (Ozark, AR). The Hillbillies enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Ozark was routed by Prairie Grove (Prairie Grove, AR), 45-43, in a non-league contest.
