Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA), 32-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Arleta upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA) to play the Dons in a bout on Monday, December 5. The Dons come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Verdugo Hills lost 25-15 in their recent non-league bout against Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Calabasas Coyotes (Calabasas, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 23. San Fernando will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Coyotes come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 51-22 non-league loss to El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA).
