McDonough Warhawks (McDonough, GA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA), 36-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, McDonough upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to Milton (Milton, GA) to play the Eagles in a bout on Saturday, November 19. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Tigers play the Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Stockbridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
