Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC), 44-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nash Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Beddingfield (Wilson, NC) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 22. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Pirates play the Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Corinth Holders will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
