Albany Hornets (Albany, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA), 60-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Albany upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hornets host Mandeville (Mandeville, LA) to clash with the Skippers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 27. The Skippers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Amite Warriors (Amite, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Varnado will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
