In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Alief Taylor Lions basketball team scored a decisive 65-37 triumph over the Magnolia West Mustangs.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 17. Alief Taylor will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Wildkats enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 59-49 non-league win over O'Connor (Helotes, TX).
