The Big Sandy Wildcats basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Neches Tigers to 39 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Summerfield for a non-league contest on Friday, November 17. Big Sandy will battle a Hornets team coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Slocum (Elkhart, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 2-1.

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Arp (Arp, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Arp was routed by Mt. Enterprise (Mt. Enterprise, TX), 74-59, in a non-league contest.
