Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Huffman Vikings (Birmingham, AL), 62-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 22. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-1. St. Laurence lost 69-59 in their recent non-league bout against Washington (Washington, IL)

Next up, the Vikings play the Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. Huffman will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 52-34 non-league loss to Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL).
