The Lake Pointe Academy Mariners tipped the visiting NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks basketball team by a final score of 39-38 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mariners face the Riverwalk Academy Lions (Rock Hill, SC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, November 28. Lake Pointe Academy will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.

With the defeat, NorthPoint Christian Academy moves to 0-2 on the year. The Nighthawks travel to Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC) to face the Knights in a Metro Area game on Friday, November 17.
