The Lakeview Charter Lions basketball squad scored 46 points and limited the host Morningside Monarchs to 28 in the Lions non-league win on Thursday.
With the win, Lakeview Charter upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology (Sun Valley, CA) to play the Griffins in a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology lost 52-40 in their recent non-league bout against East Valley (North Hollywood, CA)
Next up, the Monarchs play the Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 17. Morningside will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Pilots go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 65-51 non-league loss to Fremont (Los Angeles, CA).
