The Southwood Cowboys basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Mansfield Wolverines to 21 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cowboys now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvary Baptist Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Southwood will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 84-64 non-league win over Parkway (Bossier City, LA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-0.

The Wolverines (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
