The Boyd Broncos basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Royse City Bulldogs to 56 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Broncos now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plano for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 16. Boyd will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 65-52 non-league win over Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.

The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Trail Blazers enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Lebanon Trail was nudged by Lone Star (Frisco, TX), 83-42, in a non-league contest.
