Texas High School Basketball - United South can't hold off Strake Jesuit

The Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders basketball team scored 62 points and held the host United South Panthers to 56 in the Fighting Crusaders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Fighting Crusaders now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brandeis for a non-league contest on Friday, November 17. Strake Jesuit will battle a Broncos team coming off a 69-62 non-league win over Jefferson (San Antonio, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 4-1.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Parish Episcopal nudged Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX), 61-44, in a non-league contest.
