In Thursday's league match, the visiting Morgan Huskies football squad scored a good 54-34 victory over the Valley Regional/Old Lyme Warriors.
The Warriors (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT). The Cougars enter the Pequot - Sassacus match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, Haddam-Killingworth ran past Capital Prep/Achievement First (Hartford, CT), 30-20, in a league match.
