Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX), 32-17 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Anahuac upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Nederland (Nederland, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Nederland lost 51-12 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty (Liberty, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Huntington Red Devils (Huntington, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. Jasper will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 61-23 non-league win over Kashmere (Houston, TX).
