In Thursday's non-league match, the host Clinton Yellowjackets basketball team scored a decisive 61-35 triumph over the South Side Hornet.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets meet the Sheridan Yellowjackets (Sheridan, AR) in a non-league match, on Monday, November 20. Clinton will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
With the defeat, South Side moves to 2-8 on the year. The Hornet travel to Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR) to meet the Warhawks in a 2A Region 2 match on Tuesday, November 28. The Warhawks enter the match with a record of 12-0. Mt. Vernon-Enola won 63-18 in their recent league match against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR)
