The Newark Norsemen (Newark, IL) basketball felled the visiting Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL), 55-39 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Norsemen (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Plano was beaten by Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL), 73-41, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Somonauk/Leland for a non-league test on Friday, November 17. Dwight will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 63-13 non-league loss to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-3.
