The North Central Thunderbirds basketball team (Farmersburg, IN), was nudged 32-28 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN)

The Miners now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Daviess for a Southwestern Indiana battle on Saturday, November 18. Linton-Stockton will confront a Cougars team coming off a 35-22 non-league loss to Springs Valley (French Lick, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.

The Thunderbirds (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Greene (Bloomfield, IN). The Thunderbirds come into the Southwestern Indiana battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Eastern Greene edged Shoals (Shoals, IN), 57-15, in a non-league battle.
