The Maine West Warriors basketball team (Des Plaines, IL), was overwhelmed 50-10 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL)

The Saxons now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deerfield for a non-league battle on Saturday, November 18. Schaumburg will battle a Warriors team coming off a 62-32 non-league loss to Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Downers Grove North trounced Bartlett (Bartlett, IL), 55-26, in a non-league battle.
