The Simi Valley Pioneers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Nordhoff Rangers to 31 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pioneers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Paula for a non-league contest on Monday, November 20. Simi Valley will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 53-32 non-league win over West Ranch (Valencia, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.
The Rangers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Thousand Oaks routed Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA), 55-48, in a non-league game.
