The Union Grove Lions basketball team (Gladewater, TX), was nudged 33-32 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Sabine Cardinals (Gladewater, TX)

The Cardinals now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Overton for a non-league battle on Friday, November 17. Sabine will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 55-35 non-league loss to West Rusk (New London, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
