In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Rim of the World Fighting Scots soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Academy for Academic Excellence Knights.
The Fighting Scots (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Indian Springs (San Bernardino, CA). The COYOTES go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Academy of Careers & Exploration (Helendale, CA). The Eagle go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Academy of Careers & Exploration was nudged by Desert (Edwards AFB, CA), 6-3, in a non-league battle.
