Kennedy Eagles (Richmond, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mt. Diablo Red Devils (Concord, CA), 51-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kennedy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Balboa (San Francisco, CA) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Red Devils play the Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Mt. Diablo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
