Tennessee School for the Deaf Vikings (Knoxville, TN) fans went home pleased Saturday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the host Atlanta Area School for the Deaf Panthers (Clarkston, GA), 58-22 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Georgia School for the Deaf (Cave Spring, GA). The Tigers come into the A D2 Region 7 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Georgia School for the Deaf was routed by Alabama School for the Deaf (Talladega, AL), 63-28, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Mill Springs Academy (Alpharetta, GA) in a Atlanta Athletic challenge, on Thursday, November 21. Atlanta Area School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
