Texas High School Basketball - Bowie holds off Lake Highlands

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Bowie Volunteers basketball team scored a close 45-42 triumph over the Lake Highlands Wildcats.
The Volunteers (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lancaster (Lancaster, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Lancaster was tipped by Legion Preparatory Academy (Dallas, TX), 74-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 22. Lake Highlands will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Scots go into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 49-33 non-league loss to Guyer (Denton, TX).
