In Saturday's non-league test, the Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX) basketball squad knocked off the host Sundown Roughnecks (Sundown, TX), by a score of 58-48.

Next, the Owls encounter the Dimmitt Bobcats (Dimmitt, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, November 19. Hale Center will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
