The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR) and the visiting Westside Warriors (Jonesboro, AR), observed Izard County's basketball team knock off Westside by a score of 55-46.

The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cotter (Cotter, AR). The Warriors come into the 2A Region 2 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Cotter prevailed over Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR), 53-38, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Manila Lions (Manila, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 18. Westside will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
