The Benjamin Franklin Falcons held off the host Southside Sharks soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next, the Falcons face the Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA) in a Division II District 7 game, on Tuesday, November 19. Benjamin Franklin will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA).
The Sharks (1-1) will now prepare for their game against St. Joseph's Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Redstickers come into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, St. Joseph's Academy edged Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
