The Barbe Buccaneers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Bolton Bears to 52 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Buccaneers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Beauregard for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 17. Barbe will meet a Knights team coming off a 70-23 non-league win over Grace Christian (Alexandria, LA). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.
The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Pineville ran past Atlanta (Atlanta, LA), 78-38, in a non-league contest.
