Alabama High School Basketball - Barbour County ripped by Russell County

The Russell County Warriors basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Barbour County Jaguars to 36 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley for a non-league contest on Monday, November 21. Russell County will meet a Rams team coming off a 65-50 non-league win over Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Rams record now stands at 2-0.

The Jaguars (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bullock County (Union Springs, AL). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Bullock County was routed by Smiths Station (Smiths, AL), 76-56, in a non-league contest.
