Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Yazoo City Indians (Yazoo City, MS), 45-41 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Holmes County Central upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Greenwood (Greenwood, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Sunday, December 4. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 5-1.
Next up, the Indians play the Provine Rams (Jackson, MS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 21. Yazoo City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 71-68 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, MS).
