Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX), 57-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Horn upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Venus (Venus, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, November 18. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Venus won 51-47 in their recent non-league bout against Conrad (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Owls clash with the Adams Cougars (Dallas, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. Joshua will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 60-58 non-league win over Azle (Azle, TX).
