The Midway Panthers basketball team (Waco, TX), was routed 72-40 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX)
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Creek for a non-league battle on Saturday, November 19. Summer Creek will battle a Cougars team coming off a 71-55 non-league win over Dickinson (Dickinson, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 5-1.
The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Dobie (Houston, TX). The Longhorns come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Dobie was routed by North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX), 59-42, in a non-league battle.
