North Panola Cougars (Sardis, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS), 64-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Panola upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, November 18. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Center Hill lost 74-66 in their recent non-league bout against Tupelo (Tupelo, MS)

Next up, the Tigers play the Cleveland Central Wolves (Cleveland, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. South Panola will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 51-50 non-league win over Grenada (Grenada, MS).
