Texas High School Basketball - Marcus tops Alief Taylor

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX) and the visiting Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX), saw Marcus's basketball squad knock off Alief Taylor by a count of 51-42.

With the victory, Marcus upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Marauders travel to Brandeis (San Antonio, TX) to play the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 19. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Brandeis won 67-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Horn (Mesquite, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 18. Alief Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 52-29 non-league loss to Ursuline Academy (Dallas, TX).
