Beardstown Tigers (Beardstown, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Triopia Trojans (Concord, IL), 38-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Beardstown upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Hamilton/Warsaw (Hamilton, IL) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 19. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Trojans play the North Greene Spartans (White Hall, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Triopia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 49-30 non-league loss to Southwestern (Piasa, IL).
