The West Prairie Cyclones basketball team (Sciota, IL), was overwhelmed 69-24 in Thursday's league battle with the host Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL)
The Indians now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tremont for a non-league battle on Monday, November 21. Brimfield will battle a Turks team coming off a 50-42 non-league win over Princeville (Princeville, IL). The Turks record now stands at 1-0.
The Cyclones (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Beardstown (Beardstown, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Beardstown trounced Triopia (Concord, IL), 38-37, in a non-league battle.
