In Thursday's non-league match, the host Meridian Warriors basketball team scored a tight 76-69 triumph over the Columbia Wildcats.
In their next game, the Warriors meet the Coeur d'Alene Vikings (Coeur d'Alene, ID) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 2. Meridian will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
With the defeat, Columbia moves to 2-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Ridgevue (Nampa, ID) to meet the Warhawks in a 4A Southern Idaho match on Tuesday, November 29. The Warhawks enter the match with a record of 1-3.
