The Dunham Tigers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Covington Lions to 39 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plaquemine for a non-league contest on Monday, November 21. Dunham will battle a Green Devils team coming off a 45-32 non-league win over University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Green Devils record now stands at 1-0.
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Swamp Owls come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy prevailed over Cox (Harvey, LA), 51-12, in a non-league contest.
