The Palm Desert Aztecs basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles to 41 in the Aztecs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Aztecs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coachella Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 19. Palm Desert will meet a Mighty Arabs team coming off a 54-19 non-league win over Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA). The Mighty Arabs record now stands at 1-0.
The Golden Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Palm Springs was nudged by Coachella Valley (Thermal, CA), 54-19, in a non-league contest.
