Jefferson Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Donna North Chiefs (Donna, TX), 64-11 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jefferson upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Mission (Mission, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Mission won 68-40 in their recent non-league bout against Hanna (Brownsville, TX)

Next up, the Chiefs play the Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 21. Donna North will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Rattlers go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 56-14 non-league win over Mercedes (Mercedes, TX).
