The South Fork Ponies basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting North Mac Panthers to 43 in the Ponies non-league victory on Thursday.

The Ponies now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carrollton for a non-league contest on Friday, November 18. South Fork will battle a Hawks team coming off a 36-28 non-league win over Gillespie (Gillespie, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.

The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Auburn (Auburn, IL). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Auburn was nudged by North Mac (Virden, IL), 54-43, in a non-league contest.
