Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Plainview Bears (Rainsville, AL) and the visiting Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL), saw Plainview's basketball squad knock off Oxford by a count of 47-33.
With the victory, Plainview upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bears host Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
