Athens Indians (Athens, MI) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Lansing Christian Pilgrims (Lansing, MI), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Indians battle the Sacred Heart Academy Irish (Mt. Pleasant, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, November 19. Athens will attempt to better on its 15-9 season record. The Irish come into the match with a 7-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI).

With the loss, Lansing Christian drops to 6-6 on the campaign.
