The Nixon Mustangs basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host A&M Consolidated Tigers to 62 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morton Ranch for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Nixon will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 50-40 non-league loss to Franklin (El Paso, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 0-4.

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Huntsville (Huntsville, TX). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
