Texas High School Basketball - Alexander thwarts Pieper

The Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX), 59-51 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Somerset (Somerset, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Somerset notched a victory over Central Catholic (San Antonio, TX), 57-56, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to McCollum for a non-league test on Friday, November 17. Pieper will encounter a Cowboys squad coming off a 58-43 non-league win over Lanier (San Antonio, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-0.
