The Austin-East Roadrunners basketball team scored 88 points and restricted the host Karns Beavers to 58 in the Roadrunners non-league victory on Friday.
The Roadrunners now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sevier County for a non-league contest on Monday, November 20. Austin-East will battle a Smoky Bears team coming off a 76-36 non-league win over Cocke County (Newport, TN). The Smoky Bears record now stands at 1-1.
The Beavers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Clinton (Clinton, TN). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Clinton triumphed over First Baptist Academy (Powell, TN), 54-32, in a non-league contest.
