North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Pleasant ripped by Carson

The Carson Cougars basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers to 48 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host A.L. Brown for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Carson will meet a Wonders team coming off a 63-60 non-league win over Concord (Concord, NC). The Wonders record now stands at 2-0.

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, East Rowan was routed by Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC), 73-53, in a non-league contest.
