Christ the King Cathedral Golden Lions (Lubbock, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Rotan Yellowhammers (Rotan, TX), 51-13 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Christ the King Cathedral improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Golden Lions travel to Trinity Christian (Lubbock, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 18. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Trinity Christian won 53-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Stevens (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Yellowhammers play the Wilson Mustangs (Wilson, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 17. Rotan will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 57-33 non-league loss to Southcrest Christian (Lubbock, TX).
