The Conway Wampus Cats basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Lee Trojans to 41 in the Wampus Cats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wampus Cats now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farmington for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. Conway will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 66-59 non-league win over Maumelle (Maumelle, AR). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-0.
The Trojans (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Russellville (Russellville, AR). The Cyclones enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Russellville triumphed over Watson Chapel (Pine Bluff, AR), 61-58, in a non-league contest.
